As a national public relations leader, she brings 16 years of diverse experience in communications and marketing to the table, including six years of award-winning government communications experience gained while serving as the Communications Manager (PIO) for the City of San Marcos and as the Public Information Specialist for South Coast Water District.

Robin developed award-winning communications and branding campaigns for major city initiatives, including the launch of the largest infrastructure project in city history - the $104 million San Marcos Creek Project. She also managed crisis communications and led the organization through high-profile challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, civil unrest, cybersecurity incidents and public safety emergencies.
Robin was recognized as Star Performer of the Year for successfully implementing modern public relations strategies to elevate the District’s reputation and achieve organizational goals. She implemented an advanced social media strategy that resulted in skyrocketing engagement levels and an audience-size increase from about 500 followers to 22,500 Twitter followers, 13,000 Facebook fans and 3,600 Instagram followers. She implemented a comprehensive media relations and outreach strategy to increase District scholarship applications by 800%.
As an accomplished author, Robin is passionate about celebrating life in Orange County. Her 2019 book "100 Things to Do in Orange County Before You Die" has generated buzz in major media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, KTLA and the Orange County Register.
